I have spent 18
years in the business of law and, between 1996 and 2007, I worked as
an in-house lawyer in a variety of different industries. My experience
of the in-house sector taught me that in-house lawyers are extremely
proficient at applying their legal expertise practically in the realities
of the commercial world and that they can play a valuable role in any
organisation. In-house lawyers also have an innate sense for what a
piece of work is worth, which is often very different from “what
is on the clock” at the law firm.
Of course, not every company can afford its own in-house lawyer and
indeed may not need one on a full time basis, but with law firm charge
out rates running at several hundred pounds an hour even for junior
assistants the alternative of using an external law firm can be very
expensive and the work product may not reflect the business realities
in which your company operates.
With all of these obstacles in mind, I created Faraday’s Law,
a firm committed to providing a unique combination of technical legal
expertise and hands-on business experience at a price that reflects
the true value of the work to the client: your own in-house lawyer at
a fraction of the cost.
This website sets out in more detail what Faraday’s Law can do,
but I would be delighted to tell you in person. Please don't hesitate
to call me on +44 (0) 208 432 9473 or +44
(0) 7747 846960 for more information, or if you think
I might be able to help you.
